Miss Beauty of the Netherlands is all set to host the 2021 edition on 28th August 2021, as twelve stunning beauties will compete at the national competition and win the opportunity to represent Netherlands at Miss Earth 2021. Miss Earth Netherlands 2020 Tessa le Conge will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
The organization had recently introduced the official candidates representing provinces from all over the country. They took to their social media to announce that, “the Miss Earth Netherlands finalist Cheyenne from the province of Gelderland has withdrawn due to health issues. The only wise decision was to choose for her health.”
The decision has led to the appointment of her first runner-up Kelly Mast who will now step in and represent Gelderland at the national finals. “We wish Cheyenne all the love and support, and Kelly all the best and fun at Miss Earth Netherlands,” the organization added.
The Beauty of Gelderland organization also welcomed Kelly with a post where they wrote, “Welcome dear Kelly! Kelly is of course no stranger to us, but we are happy to tell you more about these Beauty & Brains! Sincere, sweet and brave characterizes Kelly. This 22-year-old lady is studying Human Resource Management. She loves being able to help people achieve their goals. She is a real goal getter herself! Put it on with this new challenge inside Miss Beauty of Netherlands.”
Kelly is also excited and focused towards upholding the position as a new entrant as she said, “As of today, I am entering the Dutch trajectory and can therefore proudly wear the title of Miss Beauty of Gelderland 2020/2021! I will take over from this Cheyenne Huurman and wish her all the best. It's not always easy to choose for yourself, but I really respect this brave decision. At the moment I'm really looking forward to the trajectory and the final that will take place on August 28th in Studio 21 in Hilversum!”
This year’s batch consists of stunning and talented beauties who will give a strong competition to each other. Last year, at the first virtual edition of Miss Earth 2020, Tessa le Conge represented Netherlands and gave a stellar performance. At the end of the event finale, she placed in the Top 8 at the end of the event finale. Netherlands is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth.
