In an announcement done minutes ago by Miss Earth Netherlands Organization, Tessa le Conge has been appointed Miss Earth Netherlands 2020 and will now represent her country in Miss Earth 2020. Tessa succeeds Miss Earth Netherlands 2019 Nikki Prein.

The organization took this decision in regards to the current situation of global lockdown all over the world due to the spread of coronavirus. “Due to the COVID 19 virus and it’s effects on the world and many many people, we want to live by the restrictions from our government. For our health and the health of the ones we love to”, it stated.

Tessa has already brought so much pride to her nation with her past endeavours. The 26-year-old beauty earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications degree and now works as a Communication advisor. Besides that she’s a professional trampoline gymnast.

Not new to the pageantry, in 2016, she became 1st runner-up in Miss Beauty of the Netherlands and represented our country in Miss Asia Pacific International. Holding the Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 crown, Tessa has come a long way in the last four years and will surely be a strong contender at Miss Earth 2020 platform as well.
