Miss Earth Netherlands : Info

Miss Earth Netherlands is one of the most renowned national contests of the Netherlands. It is held annually to select the representative of the country at the prestigious Big 4 beauty pageant, the Miss Earth.

The reigning queen is Deborah van Hemert. She was crowned during the finale ceremony of Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 which was held on 5th June 2016 in Netherlands. Deborah was crowned by Leena Asarfi at the culmination of the eminent beauty pageant.

'12 Months of Beauty', which is the franchise holder of the Miss Earth Netherlands pageant selects a total number of 4 delegates who represents all four parts of Netherlands (North, East, West and South) at the Miss Earth Netherlands pageant. Farah Qureshi from North (Buitenpost, Friesland), Lauraine van der Werff from East (Emmen, Drenthe), Larissa de Bruin from West (Rockanje, Zuid-Holland), and Deborah van Hemert from South (Heinkenszand, Zeeland) participated in the competition in 2016.

Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 Deborah van Hemert had officially earned the right to represent Netherlands at the upcoming Miss Earth 2016 pageant after her win. She went to represent Netherlands at the international competition on 29th October 2016.
