Ashley Subijano Montenegro to create back-to-back win for Philippines at Miss Eco International 2023?

Ashley Subijano Montenegro has officially departed for Egypt to represent Philippines at Miss Eco International 2023. ALV Pageant Circle also held an official send-off for the beauty queen as she is tasked with getting a back-to-back win for her country. Kathleen Paton of Philippines is the reigning Miss Eco International.

Ashley Montenegro is the daughter of Cara Subijano who won as Binibining Pilipinas World in 1994 and landed in the Top 10 in the international finals. Ashley is a Junior at the Endurun College pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship. She opened two businesses in preparation for her internship this year.

Ashley was crowned Miss Eco Philippines 2022 at the finale of Miss World Philippines 2022 which was held in June 2022. Ashley, being first ever Miss Charm, was supposed to represent her country at Miss Charm but the pageant was postponed multiple times due to covid-19.

Ashley grew up in a pageantry household. “Since I was little, ‘whether or not I’d want to be a beauty queen’ was always asked. I grew up not knowing my mom was a former Miss World Philippines, even after learning so I still didn’t know what that meant. To me she was just my mom, my tiger mom who had me focused on my schoolwork & extracurriculars. From her careers as an international model & beauty queen (after graduating at UC Berkeley), she learned it was her kindness & education that always provided career longevity in anything she pursued. Which matches a key lesson my step dad taught me: always have options in life," she quoted.

Ashley surely has what it takes to bring a back-to-back win for Philippines at Miss Eco International 2023. She will arrive in Egypt tomorrow as the pre-finale activities and events will begin and the finale night will culminate on 4th March 2023 in Egypt.
