Miss Grand International organization recently concluded the finale of 2022 edition of the pageant where Isabella Menin of Brazil was crowned Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia. However, the international organization has now come under fire for a cryptic post on ‘MU’ which pageant fanatics think is a dig at Miss Universe.

In the video posted on Thursday, the letters M and U are seen circling the globe which are then crushed by the initials MGI which stands for Miss Grand International. The MGI former queens through the years also paraded the stage with MGI's president, Nawat Itsaragrisil.

The post's caption quotes it as a part of the organization's 10th anniversary celebration. "We have been through a lot of stories and we will continue growing and [creating a] better version of grand because 'We are grand, the 1 and only,'”, the post quotes.

Several pageant lovers have expressed disappointment for pitting MGI against Miss Universe. They have called it ‘totally unnecessary’ and disrespectful. The pageant lovers have not wasted any time before commenting that you can be good without rebuking others. What do you think of it?
