Miss Grand International 2022, the 10th-anniversary edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, was held on 25th October 2022 at Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor Regency of West Java province, Indonesia where Isabella Menin of Brazil was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thúc Thùy Tiên of Vietnam.
Isabella Menin gave a stellar performance at the international competition since the beginning. She was a part of our favourites for the Miss Grand International 2022 crown as well. Menin is of dual heritage; she is Brazilian and Italian. She holds a BSc in Economics and a MSc in Finance from University College London. Isabella is also the founder of the Beyond Project.
The newly crowned Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin’s court includes –
1st Runner-up – Engfa Waraha Miss Grand Thailand 2022
2nd Runner-up – Andina Julie Miss Grand Indonesia 2022
3rd Runner-up – Luiseth Materán Miss Grand Venezuela 2022
4th Runner-up – Mariana Becková Miss Grand Czech Republic 2022.
The rest of the batch of the Top 10 were awarded 5th runners-up position which included Yuvna Rinishta Miss Grand Mauritius 2022 (popular choice), Pich Votey Saravody Miss Grand Cambodia 2022, Priscilla Londoño Miss Grand Colombia 2022, Oxana Rivera Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2022 and Hirisley Jimenez Miss Grand Spain 2022.
Top 20 also included Kanisha Sluis Miss Grand Curaçao 2022, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig Miss Grand Denmark 2022, Jearmanda Ramos Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2022, Laysha Salazar Miss Grand Mexico 2022, Damilola Bolarinde Miss Grand Nigeria 2022, Agatha Leon Miss Grand Paraguay 2022, Saira Cacho Miss Grand Honduras 2022, Janet Leyva Miss Grand Peru 2022, Roberta Tamondong Miss Grand Philippines 2022, Ðoan Thien An Miss Grand Vietnam 2022, Sofia Mayers Miss Grand United Kingdom 2022.
A number of special awards were also presented at the finale night; Ðoàn Thiên Ân of Vietnam was awarded Country’s Power of the Year, Yuvna Rinishta was awarded Miss Popular Vote, Mariana Becková of Czech Republic was awarded Miss Social Media, Laysha Salazar of Mexico was awarded Best in Evening Gown. Peru’s Janet Leyva, Thailand’s Engfa Waraha, United Kingdom’s Sofia Mayers and Vietnam’s Ðoàn Thiên Ân were the winners of the National Costume Competition. Ph?m Kim Dung of Vietnam was awarded Golden Grand Award while Eriko Inoda of Japan and Vicente Gonzalez of Spain were awarded Silver Grand Awards.
