Yayoi Machida was crowned Miss Grand Japan 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on Sunday, 16th July 2023 at the Tokyo FM Hall in Tokyo. Machida will represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2023.

Yayoi Machida is 26 years of age and hails from Tokyo. The stunner bested 13 other competitors to win the Miss Grand Japan 2023 crown. Machida also bagged the Best in Evening Gown, Miss Popular, and the Mix Chanel Award. Yayoi succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Japan 2022 Seira Inoue.

The newly crowned Miss Grand Japan 2023 Yayoi Machida’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Karina Yamada

2nd Runner-up – Yuka Oyama

3rd Runner-up – Taeko Yoshida

4th Runner-up – Yuki Furihata

Top 7 finalists also included Mizuki Ueda and Saki Inoue. Miss Grand Japan 2021 Chika Mizuno and Miss Grand Japan 2020 Saji Ruri were also present at the finale.

Also at the finale, Yuka Oyama bagged the Best in social media, Miyuki Nozawa bagged the Best in Swimwear, Yuki Furihata bagged Miss Peace, Karina Yamada bagged Miss Friendship.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of Miss Grand International, is scheduled to be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
