Kansuda ‘Mimi’ Chanakiri has been recently appointed and announced as the official Miss Grand Myanmar 2022 as she will now be representing Myanmar at Miss Grand International 2022. The diva succeeds Miss Grand Myanmar 2021 Amara Shune Lei for the title.

“Thank you so much to each and every one of the fans who support the fire. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity and the opportunity! Thank you so much for the great opportunity of Miss Grand's shoulder strap,” she shared.

Mimi is a Thai-Burmese model, who is not new to pageantry and was a former contestant at Miss Universe Thailand 2019 as well as Miss Grand Prachuap Kiri Khan 2022. She made it to the Top 20 finalists in Miss Universe Thailand 2019. The 23 year-old is a major in Thai dance from the Chiang Mai Rajabhat University.

Chanakiri is definitely experienced, talented and determined towards her dreams. She believes that “Ethnicity, religion, and other such factors should not divide people. The most important thing is building relationships and sharing your heart.”

Last year, Amara Lei represented Myanmar at Miss Grand International 2021 and finished among the Top 20 finalists at the end of the event. She also made it to the Top 10 of Best in Swimsuit, Top 10 Pre-arrival and Top 20 of the Best in National Costume.

Mimi will now prepare for her international stint at the Miss Grand International platform. The Miss Grand International 2022, the 10th anniversary edition, will be held on 25th October 2022 in Indonesia.

Congratulations queen!
