Miss Guatemala organization held the coronation gala of the 2021 edition of the national pageant which was broadcasted live on their official Facebook page at 8:00 PM. The organization crowned the representatives to Miss Earth, Miss Tourism International and Miss Intercontinental at the end of the event finale.

Mariela Aldana was crowned Miss Earth Guatemala 2021 as she became the official representative of Guatemala at Miss Earth 2021. Mariela is a Guatemalan athelete and beauty queen who hails from Guatemala city. The stunning beauty is a flag football player and started working for Liga de Flag Football Guatemala as the marketing director in 2017. In 2019, she joined Gimmick Company in Guatemala as a key account manager.

Aldana is a fluent speaker of Spanish and English and holds a diploma in design and a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Till 2018, she studied marketing at Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala City. Not new to the pageantry, she was Reina Feria de Sevilla 2018 first runner-up. The 25-year-old stunning beauty queen will be a strong contender for the international crown at the upcoming edition of Miss Earth with her strong personality and beauty.

Also crowned the the same event were Miss Intercontinental Guatemala 2021 Raquel Escalante and Miss Tourism Guatemala 2021 Jennifer Aldana. Both these beauties will now represent Guatemala at the upcoming editions of Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism International.

Last year, Gabriella Castillo Miss Earth Guatemala 2020 represented her country at Miss Earth 2020 but failed to place in the Top 20. She won silver medal for Americas at Talent Competition. Guatemala is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth.
