The powerhouse country of pageant world, Mexico, has its new Miss International Mexico 2019 queen and she is none other than Andrea Toscano, the reigning Miss Universe Mexico and Mexicana Universal 2018 winner. National director of Mexicana Universal Organization Lupita Jones officially designated the young beauty with the title. It is no doubt that the chairperson has decided to send her best of the best for the pageant to bring home a win this year.

The 20-year-old Andrea Toscano is currently doing her majors in nutrition at the University of Colima. The Mexican beauty represented her country in the prestigious Miss Universe 2018 last year and even though she was a strong favourite for the crown, Andrea remained unplaced in the competition to everyone’s surprise. Nevertheless, the national winner has continued with her advocacy and has been given support by the Mexican government to spread her nutrition advocacy.

With her incredible following on social media, Andrea has even more followers than the official Miss International page and this has never happened before! Looks like, with Andrea’s participation, Mexico has already locked in one win for itself this year. Miss International 2019 will be held on 12th November 2019 where Mariem Claret Velazco will crown her successor at the end of the coronation night.
