Andrea Toscano crowned Mexicana Universal 2018

Mexicana Universal 2018 (Miss Universe Mexico 2018) came to end yesterday with a grand ceremony that saw the crowning of Mexicana Universal 2018 Andrea Toscano. She succeeded Mexicana Universal 2017 Denisse Iridane Franco Piña and will now represent Mexico at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant where MissUniverse 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown her successor.

Andrea Toscano is from the state of Colima and is the first Mexicana Universal winner crowned from the the state. She was also the youngest competitor for at the Mexicana Universal 2018 competition.

In the final gala of Mexicana Universal 2018, the first national reality show that chooses a beauty queen, there were six national finalists.

Aranza Molina, the representative of Tabasco, took the second place; Maryely Leal, from Sinaloa, the third; Lupita Valero, from Guerrero, the fourth, while Jalisco, through Nebai Torres, was the fifth place, and the sixth went to Karely Sandoval, from Zacatecas.

The Mexicana Universal contest is directed by Lupita Jones, the first Mexican to be crowned as Miss Universe.
