Miss Israel 2018 concluded with a grand ceremony on 30th April 2018. 12 finalists have selected from thousands of applicants. The girls fought head to head for the crown of Miss Israel 2018, and two emerged as winners of the Miss Universe Israel and Miss World Israel crowns.

20-year-old Michal Mordov, 1st runner-up Miss Israel 2018, was crowned as Miss World Israel 2018 and will represent Israel at Miss World later this year. Miss World 2018 Manushi Chhilar will crown her successor at the Miss World 2018 finale night, and Michal hopes to bring the crown back to Israel.

Michal is from the province of Tel Aviv and is currently working in the technical support of a credit centre. In high school, she studied computer science, philosophy and biology. She lives with her partner at home. She served in a closed base in Central Command.

According to Michal, she and her mother are the best friends and Michal attests that she is "the most important person in the world." After a whole life in Jerusalem, nine months ago she moved with her boyfriend to Tel Aviv. She has seven tattoos. She has two cats named Koza and Chitose.

She volunteered in the past at the Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Anatot. She is easily pressed, reddened, and generally embarrassed. She is afraid of elevators and cannot get into the elevator alone. She arrived spontaneously after a friend tagged her on a post and she said to herself: "Why not try?"

The lucky winners were chosen from the Top 4, which also included Amma Eitan (18) who won the title of "The Public's Favorite" and Taline Abu Hanna (23), who was the first transgender candidate in the history of the competition.
