Miss Universe Nicaragua 2020 is all set to host its coronation night on 10th May 2020 where stunning beauties from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Nicaragua 2019 Inés López Sevilla will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While the eight delegates selected to compete for Miss Nicaragua 2020 boasts of stunning beauties who are all capable to represent Nicaragua with pride, there is one delegate who has caught everyone’s attention and is emerging as the potential winner of Miss Nicaragua 2020. The 23-year-old Ana Marcelo seems to be a crowd favourite and has already formed a strong footing in the competition.
Ana has graduated with a degree in Agro-industrial Engineering from the University of Engineering, UNI-North Estelí. Ana is not new to the pageantry as she participated in Miss Teen America 2015 at the age of 19 where she represented Nicaragua and won the crown for her country. Through her experience , Ana has gotten a chance to experience various cultures and traditions. She has also learned to trust herself and overcome her stage panic and perform with absolute grace.
Ana’s role model is her mother from whom she finds all her strength and happiness. Describing her mother as a ‘human with love, humility and many values’ who has played a very important role in her life, Ana has grown into the woman she is today. Her mother has also always pushed Ana towards fulfilling her dreams and passion of being a beauty queen. Ana has learnt how to channelize her weakness into her strengths through her journey and has shown that she has the potential to represent her country with dedication.
Ana has worked with various designers and photographers after winning the title to learn more about the beauty pageant world. The people she has worked with have appreciated her for being quick learner. According to Ana, a beauty queen must intelligent, because she is expected to perform well in all the activities and she must have the knowledge and skills to represent a country at the international platform.
Her warm and positive aura will definitely give her the needed edge at the national contest as she moves forward in the competition. In our opinion, Ana can definitely win Miss Nicaragua 2020 if she keeps the hard work going on her catwalk, presentation and communication skills.
