The 38th edition of Miss Nicaragua i.e., Miss Nicaragua 2020 will be held on 10th May 2020 at the Hotel Intercontinental Metrocentro where the delegates all over the country will compete for the title of Miss Nicaragua 2020. The winner of the competition will represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2020. Miss Nicaragua 2019 Iness López Sevilla will crown her successor by the end of the event finale.
With applications and registrations for the competition has already begun in February, wish lists are being prepared for the potential delegate who can be a strong contender for the title and has all the skills and abilities to represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2020 competition.
For us, Ana Marcelo is a suitable candidate for the title. Ana is 23-years-old and has graduated with a degree in Agro-industrial Engineering from the University of Engineering, UNI-North Estelí. She has emerged out as a potential candidate for the title and representing Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2020.
Ana is not new to the pageantry as she has participated and won the title of Miss Teen America 2015 at the age of 19; where she represented Nicaragua. Ana explained that participating in Miss Teen Nicaragua 2014 and then representing Nicaragua at the international platform of Miss Teen America 2015 was one of the best experiences she had. The diva got to meet various other delegates and know about their culture and traditions. She learned to trust herself and overcome her stage panic and perform with an open heart. She was proud to represent her state Estelí at Miss Teen Nicaragua 2014 and then Nicaragua at Miss Teen America 2015.
Ana idolises her mother and explained that she finds so much strength and happiness when she is around her mother. She describes her mother as a ‘human with love, humility and many values’. Her mother has played a very important role in her life where she has always pushed Ana towards fulfilling her dreams and passion of being a beauty queen. The diva has learnt how to channelize her weakness into her strengths.
Ana has worked with various designers and photographers after winning the title to learn more about the beauty pageant world. The people she has worked with has appreciated her for being quick learner and one of the most obedient people to work with. The explain that she listens and applied all the advice they give to her. According to Ana, beauty queen must intelligent, because she is expected to perform well in all the activities and she must have the knowledge and skills to represent a country at the international platform.
Ana is friendly, warm and very comfortable around people who radiate positivity. She works on her on-stage walk, interview and communication skills, body angles and postures for any future beauty pageants she must be a part of. If she applies and gets selected at the Miss Nicaragua 2020 competition, she will be a very tough competition for the other delegates. She has experience and knowledge and she has been practicing her skills to polish them for a while now and is all set to participate in the beauty pageant. Ana is very proud of her culture and tradition which she would use the platform of Miss Nicaragua 2020 to showcase. She believes in the proverb that dreams come true if you work hard for them and this is the message, she wants to give out the young women out there that if they want something, they must work hard for it.
With her confidence, experience and believe, Ana can surely win the title and represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2020 competition.
