Leyla van Greuning crowned Miss Supranational South Africa 2019

Miss Supranational South Africa 2019 held its grand finale night on 27th July 2019 where ten contestants competed for the national crown and Leyla van Greuning was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Supranational South Africa 2018 Belinde Schreuder.

Leyla van Greuning competed with excellence and grace at the national competition. From Johannesburg, Gauteng, Leyla works as a model at Vogue Catwalk Models S.A (Model). The gorgeous beauty will sure be a force to be reckoned with at the international platform. The newly crowned queen’s court included –

First Runner-up – Misha Christie

Second Runner-Up – Anrónet Ann Roelofsz

A number of special awards were also presented at the competition - Best Evening Gown: Leyla van Greuning, Best in Social Media, Miss Debutante, Best Bikini Boday and Miss Photogenice: Anrónet Ann Roelofsz and Miss Public choice and Best National Costume: Evene Locke.

The contestants who competed for the national crown were Anrónet Ann Roelofsz, Evené Locke, Izelle van Vuuren, Leyla van Greuning, Misha Christie, Ntombifuthy Mabena, Peggy Chauke, Petra Human, Precious Mndalama, Reinette Potgieter, Roxanne Hendricks, Sarah Wainer, Sipho Mandlana and Zoné Oberholzer.

Belinde Schreuder competed in Miss Supranational 2018 though remained unplaced at the finale of the event. South Africa is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Supranational.
