The finale of Miss Earth Brazil 2019 (aka Miss Terra Brasil 2019/ Miss DO Brasil 2019) was held last night at Auditório Dr. Marcelo Vianna in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais which saw fifteen splendid Brazilian divas competing for the title of Miss Earth Brazil 2019. At the conclusion of the finale, Maria Gabriela Batistela representing São Paulo was crowned Miss Earth Brazil 2019 by her predecessor Sayonara Veras, Miss Earth Brazil 2018. Sayonara was placed amongst Top 18 at the finale of Miss Earth 2018, though could not go on to win the crown for her country. Gabriela, who is 20 years of age and stands tall at an astounding height of 180 cm, will now represent Brazil in the 19th edition of the Miss Earth beauty pageant.
Brazil so far has had a successful stint at Miss Earth having won two titles so far - Priscilla Meirelles Miss Earth 2004 and Larissa Ramos Miss Earth 2009. Besides, Brazil has secured Top 4 placement at Miss Earth seven other times.

At the same event, Shanti Devi of Pará was crowned Miss Global City Brazil 2019, and she will now represent Brazil in the 14th edition of Miss Global City beauty pageant. She succeeds Miss Global City Brazil 2018 Jessica Porto. Jessica, last year, was the third runner-up in Miss Global City 2018 pageant held in China.
