Miss Universe 2022 Meet the Hosts

Miss Universe organization, through their official social media, announced the new hosts for the 71st edition which will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on 14th January 2023. This will mark the first time in a 70-year history to have an all-female presenting panel.



Meet the hosts of Miss Universe 2022 –

Olivia Culpo

A model, actress and social media influncer, Culpo rose to fame when she was crowned Miss Universe 2012. Since then, she has starred in the TLC series ‘The Culpo Sisters’ and has invested and served as a creative director for canned cocktail company Vide.



Jeannie Mai Jenkins

Jeannie Mai Jenkins has been seen as a commentator in the past for the Miss Universe and Miss USA competitions. Mai Jenkins won a Daytime Emmy for hosting ‘The Real’ and currently hosts Amazon Freevee’s ‘America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation’.



Meet the Backstage Commentators –

Catriona Gray

Catriona Gray, from Philippines, is a Filipino-Australian model, singer, beauty queen, television personality, youth advocate and arts ambassador. She was crowned Miss Universe in 2018. She is also the host and performer of the TV5 variety show, Sunday Noontime Live.



Zuri Hall

Zuir Hall is an American entertainment reporter, television personality, actress and producer. Hall serves as a correspondent for Access Hollywood on NBC. She is also the sideline reporter for NBC's primetime summer competition show American Ninja Warrior. She also hosted 2021 and 2022 edition of Miss USA.

Olivia Culpo and Jenkins have replaced Steve Harvey, who had hosted Miss Universe for five years (with the exception of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Harvey had been a part of Fox’s deal with Miss Universe. Last month, The Roku Channel sealed a one-year deal to be the official English-language U.S. home for Miss Universe. The event also airs in Spanish on Telemundo.
