The Miss Universe Vietnam organization is running its 2022 edition of Miss Universe Vietnam in full swing as the final night is approaching. With the exciting coronation coming up, the organization has recently announced that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be gracing the coronation night as a special judge.
“Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be one of the official judges in the Final Night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022,” they announced. Catriona Gray is a Filipino-Australian model, singer, beauty queen, television personality, youth advocate, and arts ambassador, best known for having been crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is the fourth Filipino to win the Miss Universe competition.
Gray is currently working in an organization called Young Focus Philippines in Tondo, Manila since May 2016. She is also working in other organizations like Love Yourself Philippines and Smile Train. Gray has advocated for women's rights and has continued to pursue her women's rights advocacies despite some incidents when military officials attempted to pressure her into limiting her interactions with certain women's rights groups.
This year’s event will also witness power packed performances by singer Dong Chi and the Dalab Music Group. The event is following a reality TV show format this year, where Vietnamese audience can see the preliminary competitions being held and later cast their votes.
The winner of this year’s edition will succeed Miss Universe 2021 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen for the title. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen made it to the Top 16 of Miss Universe 2021 as she set forth a beautiful representation at the international event.
