Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray released the lyrical video of her single ‘Raise Your Flag’ which pays homage to the beauty queen’s patriotic words at the finale of Miss Universe 2018. She has now finally released the music video of the song and it is beautiful and touching.
During an online press conference soon after the launch, Catriona stated, “It just felt very important for me to put my spin or my interpretation to this song. It’s about feeling that your dreams are valid, that your voice matters and that life is best lived when it’s lived for others.”

Although Catriona made the song as a tribute to her journey, she believes that each one could relate it to their own lives and challenges. She believes that the song’s message is about standing up for someone or something, and that can easily be adapted to standing up for your fellow countrymen, for their rights, their safety, and their well-being.
