As national organizations of many countries worldwide have been appointing new faces as well as former delegates and titleholders as new queens as delegates for upcoming national pageants, Bangladesh’s pageant fans are also circled by the rumors of Former Miss Universe Bangladesh Shirin Akther to be appointed for the upcoming editions of international pageants, either Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2022.
Shirin Akter Shila is a Bangladeshi model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Bangladesh 2019. She is a third-year graduate student in the Physics Department of University of Dhaka. Prior to Miss Universe Bangladesh, she also participated in Miss World Bangladesh 2018, where she was placed among the Top 10 contestants of the competition.
The diva was also declared as the best female model for Face of Bangladesh 2019 and has also represented Bangladesh at Face of Asia 2019. With her experience in pageantry and her passion to represent the country on an international platform, she is definitely a potential delegate for upcoming international pageants. There is a strong rumor that the queen will be back in pageants because she wants to make her country and nation proud and would like to represent the country at major beauty pageants.
Even though the country has been participating in major beauty pageants, Bangladesh is yet to pioneer its win for one of the Big 4 crowns.
