With a recent announcement that Miss Universe Germany 2006 Natalie Ackermann will be taking over the duties of Miss Universe Colombia as the national director, the rumours of new representative of Colombia for Miss Universe 2020 stage is also going around. María Fernanda Aristizábal who was crowned Senorita Colombia 2020 could be or could not be elected to represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2020 depending upon the new organization. This comes after Miss Universe Colombia decided to branch out from Senorita Colombia Organization very recently.
Kimberly Hooker Naranjo seems like a potential choice to represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2020 stage if María Fernanda is not sent as the representative at the competition. Kimberly is 23-years-old and stands 183 cm tall. She has earned her degree from University of Del Atlantico and is majoring in a degree of Foreign Languages. She has always dreamt and desired to represent Colombia at international stage and when an opportunity like this appears, she won’t let it go without a fight. The diva would be a great fit for representing the country as she if focused, determined and very much aware of the way beauty pageant works.
Kimberly started modelling at the age of 19 where she participated in Intermunicipal Pageant of La Ciruela 2016 where she was crowned as the winner at the end of the event finale and in the same year, she won Miss Islands Pageant in San Andres. The diva decided to take a break from pageantry and focus on her studies and herself but she came back and participated in Miss Andres y Providencia 2019 and was crowned at the end of the event finale. Her victory in Miss Andres y Providencia 2019 gained her the opportunity to represent her province in Miss Colombia 2019 which she did but unfortunately wasn’t placed in the year.
Even though Kimberly didn’t win any placement last year but was appreciated not only by the judges but the audience too. She performed beautifully and very strongly on-stage which is why if María Fernanda is not elected to represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2020 stage, Kimberly would be a potential choice. Her admiration and popularity among the audience is evident by the wish lists and the rumours of her vying for Miss Universe Colombia 2020 are very strong.
