The coronation ceremony of Miss Universe Malta 2020 will be held later this year where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title of Miss Universe Malta 2020 and an opportunity to represent Malta at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Miss Universe Malta 2019 Teresa Ruglio will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Last year Teresa Ruglio Sánchez represented Malta at Miss Universe 2019 stage and was highly appreciated for her performance on-stage. During her stint as Miss Universe Malta 2020, Ruglio wished to raise awareness regarding the crisis in Venezuela, and to continue her work as a motivational speaker. She wasn’t placed at the competition but has been continuously using her past tough experiences to help people to look at the world with a sense of optimism and create positive habits.
