Myanmar’s Amara Bo to don ‘Burmese Virtue Tree’ inspired national costume at Miss Universe 2023

Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 Amara Bo is ready to showcase ‘Burmese Virtue Tree’ inspired traditional costume at the National Costume competition of Miss Universe 2023. Amara wishes to present her country’s culture and tradition at the international platform.

Amara also took to her official social media as she showcased her costume and wrote, “In Myanmar Buddhist Culture, there is a cultural tradition for donation called ‘Virtue Tree’ where we donate the money from our savings to the monasteries during the festivals. This costume represents the lady dressing up for the ceremony who is ready to do the good deeds.”

Amara is 26 years of age and a Computer Science graduate from University of Computer Studies, Mandalay (UCSM). She is currently representing her country at Miss Universe 2023, competing in pre-pageant activities and going though rehearsals to prepare for the final night.

The National Costume competition of Miss Universe 2023 will be held on Thursday, 16th November 2023 at 8 PM while the finale will be held on Saturday, 18th November 2023 at 7 PM where Miss Universe 2022 Rbonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
