Reinas de Belleza del Paraguay organization held its coronation night yesterday where Vanessa Castro was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2020 and became the official representative of Paraguay in Miss Universe 2020. Vanessa succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Paraguay 2019 Ketlin Lottermann.
The organization came under a lot of speculation as Vanessa was seen arriving at the contest only yesterday. There were no official photos to be seen on her official account as well. The pageant fanatics have also shown hurt for the lack of respect towards the other contestants who participated in the competition.
Stephania Stegman Miss Supranational 2015 also came forward as she said in a comment that she was Miss Universe Paraguay 2020 for three months as well and that she was made to resign from the crown for not paying the franchise for the title.
Amidst all the controversy, however, Vanessa has been chosen as the official representative and will definitely give her best performance to place Paraguay in the Top at Miss Universe 2020.
The contestants who competed for the crown were Cindy Aquino, Ara Dominguez, Cristina G. Benítez F., Keren Gavilan, Sandra Sanabria, Gabriela Benitez Sanabria, Sara Ramos, Viviana Vera, Yenny Samaniego and Vanessa Castro.
Last year, Ketlin Lottermann was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2019 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2019. Unfortunately, she failed to place in the Top 20. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe.
