At the conclusion of the Reinas de Belleza del Paraguay 2019 held on 7th August 2019, Ketlin Lottermann was crowned Miss Universo Paraguay 2019/ Miss Universe Paraguay 2019 as she became the official representative of Paraguay in Miss Universe 2019. Araceli succeeds and was crowned by Miss Mundo Paraguay 2018 Belen Alderete.
Ketlin Lottermann represented Alto Paraná in the national contest holding the title of Reina Alto Paraná Universo 2019. The 25-year-old gorgeous beauty is a physiotherapist by profession. A fluent speaker of English and Portuguese, Ketlin is a strong candidate to represent Paraguay at the international contest. A fitness enthusiast, Ketlin is definitely prepared for her upcoming stint.
Miss Universo Itapua 2019 Rita Alejandra Fraulob was awarded the title of Virreina Universo Paraguay 2019. The Virreina takes over the responsibilities and title of the winner in case the winner is not able to complete her reigning responsibilities.
A number of special awards were also presented at the national contest: Miss Silhouette: Jazmín Saucedo, Miss Amaszonas: Ketlin Lottermann, Miss Photogenic: Romina Godoy, Miss Elegance: Juany Ortega, Miss Talent: Araceli Bobadilla and Miss Top Model: Cayetana Ayala.
Sixteen contestants competed for the national titles as other than Miss Universe Paraguay 2019, Miss World Paraguay 2019, Miss International Paraguay 2019 and Miss Earth Paraguay 2019 were also crowned.

Last year, Belen Alderete Miss Universe Paraguay 2018 represented in Miss Universe 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a placement in the Top. Paraguay is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe.
