With Miss Universe Philippines separating from Binibining Pilipinas in 2019, the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be hosted on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor by the end of the event finale.
Krizzia Lynn Moreno has become the official representative of Camarines Sur for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 after she was confirmed at the red-carpet presentation held in Manila. Krizzia is 24-years-old and stands 175cm tall with a degree in Travel Management from University of Santo Tomas. She works as flight attendant in Cebu Pacific along with modelling.
Krizzia is not new to the pageantry world as she participated in Miss Earth Philippines 2019. Even though wasn’t placed she was much appreciated by everyone during competition for her confidence and opinions. She has always set big goals for herself and never stopped dreaming about the representing Philippines at an international platform. She likes to explore and learn new things as she is curious.
Krizzia is an articulate speaker, especially when her course thrives in social relations and public delivery of travel and tourism-related advisories. She believes that if we raise awareness regarding certain issues concerning our environment, make the people aware, and encourage them to act, we will have people who care for the earth because the earth, in turn, cares for us.
Krizzia has always expressed her gratitude towards her family, friends and who ever has helped her in being what she is today. Their immense motivation and support have kept things going for the diva. She likes to surround herself with people who are positive and radiate good vibes always. Their optimism gives her the confidence and determination to keep going and perform better than ever. She has started to prepare herself for the beauty pageant with eating right, practicing yoga and workouts, on-stage walk and working on her speech. She can emerge as a strong contender for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
She expressed her happiness and excitement for being appointed as the official representative of Camarines Sur for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 via her social media with a post, “When you want something, all the UNIVERSE conspires in helping you to achieve it. -Paulo Coelho”. She’d use the platform is to help preserve the beauty of the islands by refraining from use of single-use plastics such as straws, etc. She believes that there a lot of useful alternatives that would not harm the environment.
Miss Universe Philippines aims to encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are. It trains participants to become role models, pursuing personal and professional goals, while also leaving and inspiring positive impact in society.
