The 56th edition of Binibining Pilipinas i.e. Binibining Pilipinas 2019 held its grand coronation night tonight at the Smart Araneta Colesium, Quezon city where six gorgeous beauties were crowned to represent Philippines in various international pageants. Gazini Christiana Ganados was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2019 by none other than Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray who later went on to win Miss Universe 2018.

Gazini Christiana Ganados is 22 years of age and stands 170 cm tall. She represented Cebu in the national pageant and won over everyone’s heart at the finale with her commendable performance in each and every round. With a smile plastered on her face throughout, Gazini look every bit deserving of the crown she was just handed over. Her court included –

First Runner- Up – Maria Andrea Abesamis representing Pasig

Second Runner-Up – Samantha Mae Bernardo representing Palawan

The coronation night began with an opening performance by the delegates who dazzled on the stage in their costumes. The announcement of Top 25 out of the forty contestants was then made as the audience cheered on for their favourites - Hannah Consencino Arnold, Jane Darren Genobisa, Joanna Rose Tolledo, Jessica Marasigan, Shane Quintana Tormes, Honey Grace Cartasano, Jessarie Dumaguing, Maria Isabela Galeria, Emma Mary Tiglao, Denise Amorog, Gazini Christiana Ganados, Marianne Marquez, Joahnna Carla Saad, April May Short, Leren Mae Bautista, Larah Grace Lacap, Martina Turner Diaz, Malka Shaver, Kimberle Mae Penchon, Samantha Mae Bernardo, Maria Andrea Abesamis, Bea Patricia Magtanong, Samantha Ashley Lo, Resham Ramirez Saeed, Vickie Marie Rushton.

As the contestants went on to perform at the finale stage in their swimsuits and evening gowns, the competition tightened. The reigning queens also took to the stage and waved their last goodbye as Binibining titleholders. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also walked the stage as she waved her fans goodbye, looking teary-eyed. As she delivered her final speech, the audience who love her irrevocably cheered her on and made her feel every bit proud and loved as their queen.

The competition reached halfway as Top 25 was cut down to Top 15 which included - Hannah Consencino Arnold, Jessica Marasigan, Maria Isabela Galeria, Emma Mary Tiglao, Gazini Christiana Ganados, Marianne Marquez, Joahnna Carla Saad, April May Short, Leren Mae Bautista, Samantha Mae Bernardo, Maria Andrea Abesamis, Bea Patricia Magtanong, Samantha Ashley Lo, Resham Ramirez Saeed and Vickie Marie Rushton.

A number of special awards were also handed out in sets to the contestants as the winners of various competitions such as National Costume, Talent, Swimsuit, Evening Gown and more were announced amidst loud applause –

At the conclusion of the finale, long with Gazini, five other beauties were crowned to represent Philippines in various international pageant; Bataan – Bea Patricia Magtanong representing Bataan was crowned Miss International Philippines 2019, Resham Ramirez Saeed representing Maguindanao was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2019, Samantha Ashley Lo representing Cebu was crowned Miss Grand International Philippines 2019, Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2019 was awarded to Emma Mary Tiglao and Leren Mae Bautista representing Laguna was crowned Miss Globe Philippines 2019.
