In recent news, Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 winner Michele Gumabao under the Aces and Queen Camp has submitted her application for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 on 30th January 2020 in Manila.  Michele was one of the 10 girls who submitted their application at the Empire Studios in Uptown Mall BGC, Taguig, Manila. Michele posted a picture on her social media with a caption “Trading in my sneakers one more time. Submitted my application to be part of the first ever Miss Universe Philippines. Hello, 2020”.

Michele Gumabao is 27-years-old and stands 177cm tall. She graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from De La Salle University where she was a consistent Dean’s lister and now works as a professional volleyball player and a TV presenter for ABS-CBN Sports and Action. She is the daughter of former PBA player and actor Dennis Roldan and siter of actor Marco Gumbao.

Michele Gumabao stepped into the world of beauty pageants in 2018 when she was confirmed to be competing for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant. She was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 and represented Philippines at Miss Global 2018. Even though, she didn’t win the title of Miss Globe 2018 but was placed at Top 15 and was adjudged with the title of Miss Social Media and Dream Girl.

Michele’s progressive move towards vying for a national title is a level up for the diva what she has reigned till now. Her continuous visibility on the small screen and social media helps immensely in keeping everyone on the loop with improvements of herself and the way she relates to the public in general. She is an advocate of sports and she build a volleyball camp in 2012 which seeks to give children the potentially life-altering option of choosing volleyball as passion.

Michele is very serious about her fitness routine and along with playing volleyball, Michele alternates her fitness routine with various exercises. She lifts weight, does medicine ball and circuit training. She tries to stay healthy and fit by eating the right kind of food her body needs. She is also an animal lover and advocates about their safety. She wants to raise awareness about the animal-cruelty in the world and want people to be kind to them.

Michele can be one of the strong contenders for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 as she has experience in the field of beauty pageants and she is both an established athlete and a celebrity whose purpose could be apt for the youth. She is eye to represent Quezon City in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. If she makes it as one of the official candidates, this will be the second time for Michele to compete in a beauty pageant and if she win the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020, she can represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020.
