At the fascinating gala night of Binibining Pilipinas 2018, held on March 18, 2018, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines, Binibini 19 Michelle Gumabao was crowned as Miss Globe Philippines 2018 by the outgoing Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2017 Nelda Ibe.

Michelle Gumabao will now represent the Philippines at the forthcoming Miss Globe 2018 pageant where she hopes to get crowned by the reigning Miss Globe 2017 Do Tran Khanh Ngan of Vietnam.

Michelle Gumabao is a famous Philippines’ volleyball player and a former De La Salle Lady Spiker. Michele is the daughter of actor and former politician Dennis Roldan. Her siblings Marco and Paolo are also in showbiz. She is the camp director of the Alaska Volleyball Powercamp. With her slender figure and a staggering height of 175 cm, this 25-year-old is all set to win hearts in the world of pageantry.

At the same event, Binibini 20 Catriona Gray was crowned Bb Pilipinas 2018 and will represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2018. Binibini 32 Karen Juanita Gallman was crowned Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2018 and will represent Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2018. Binibini 31 Jehza Mae Huelar was crowned ‎Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2018 and will be representing Philippines at the Miss Supranational 2018. Binibini 32 Eva Psychee Patalinjug was crowned Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2018 and will now represent Philippines at the Miss Grand 2018. Binibini 17 Ma. Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Bb Pilipinas International 2018 and will now represent Philippines at the Miss International 2018. While Binibini 19 Michelle Gumabao was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2018, she will now represent her country at the Miss Globe 2018 pageant.

Vickie Marie Milagrosa Rushton was the first runner-up at the event, and Samantha Bernardo was named the second runner-up at Binibining Pilipinas 2018.

The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 started with the introduction of the 40 contestants. All the delegates took the stage to introduce themselves to the audience. Dressed up in glittery cocktail dresses, the girls looked gorgeous.

It was a visual treat, and definitely a one of a kind experience.
