Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Top 52: Michele Theresa Gumabao

Just as the Red Carpet Presentation was held on 14th February 2020 for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020, the first edition of the national pageant, 52 stunning divas were unveiled who will now give a strong competition to each other to win the chance to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020.

Under Aces and Queens Camp, Michele Gumabao has made it to the Top 52 delegates competing for Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She is 27 years of age and stands 177cm tall. Michele graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from De La Salle University where she was a consistent Dean’s lister and now works as a professional volleyball player and a TV presenter for ABS-CBN Sports and Action. She is the daughter of former PBA player and actor Dennis Roldan and siter of actor Marco Gumbao.

Michele Gumabao entered pageantry in 2018 when she became an official delegate in Binibining Pilipinas 2018. She was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 and represented Philippines at Miss Global 2018. Even though, she didn’t win the title of Miss Globe 2018, she placed at Top 15 and was adjudged with the title of Miss Social Media and Dream Girl. Her experience will definitely be advantageous for her at the contest.

She is an advocate of sports and she build a volleyball camp in 2012 which seeks to give children the potentially life-altering option of choosing volleyball as passion. Her social media and visibility on small screen has definitely kept everyone in loop with improvements on herself and the way she relates to the public in general.

A fitness fanatic, Michele follows her routine and along with playing volleyball, she alternates her fitness routine with various exercises; she lifts weight, does medicine ball and circuit training. Michele has the experience in the field of beauty pageants and she is both an established athlete and a celebrity whose purpose could be apt for the youth.

The finale of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is scheduled to be held on 3rd May 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Metro Manila where Gazini Ganados Miss Universe Philippines 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The pageant is inspired by Miss Universe's slogan ‘Confidently Beautiful’ and henceforth has adopted the theme ‘Confident, beautiful, and empowered Filipinas.’
