Our favourites from Evening Gown Competition of Miss Universe Philippines 2021

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 is all set to be held on 30th September 2021 at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol, where 30 stunning delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2021 pageant. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo for the title, who finished among the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020, earlier this year.

The organization hosted the Evening Gown Preliminary Competition on 26th September 2021 at the Empire PH YouTube channel, where the shortlisted delegates paraded in their stunning evening gown showcasing elegance and grace.

While all the divas dazzled in their gowns, some stood out as they made it to our favourites this year. So, without any further ado, here are our Top 10 favourites from the Evening Gown Competition at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 –

Beatrice Luigi Gomez representing Cebu City

Shimmering in a gorgeous red gown by the world renowned Furne Amato, Beatrice dazzled like a queen on the ramp. Elegant and graceful, this diva definitely made our hearts skip a beat. The high slit gown fell beautifully on her body with glitters and feathers embracing her walk.

Jasmine Umali representing Manila

Izabella Jasmine Umali looked resplendent in an emerald green Greek Goddess inspired gown designed by Nat Manilag. The slinky wrap-style gown with a long veil accompanied by Jasmine’s stunning features and a warm smile was highly appreciated.

Leren Mae Bautista representing Laguna

Exalted from the Lovelorn Enchantress living in the dormant volcano in Los Baños, Laguna where Miss Universe Philippines candidate Leren Mae Bautista hails, the silver Louis Pangilinan Fashion Empire gown was decorated with hand embellishment to represent ‘Mariang Makiling’, a nymph from the fog and the mists of the dusky mountain. Adorned by its intricate arrangement of beads, crystals, and sequins to breathtakingly complement a true Phenomenal Filipina woman with a stunning smile, shinning black hair, sparkling eyes, and a beautiful soul.

Steffi Aberasturi representing Cebu Province

Steffi donned a Philipp Tampus designed pink bodycon gown with a dramatic neckline making a bold statement on the ramp. The diva has been acing every performance throughout the journey towards the crown. Her high bun and minimalistic look brought out the beauty of the gown and her stunning features.

Victoria Vincent Velasquez representing Cavite

Leaving us all in awe of the artistic vision by Furne Amato, Victoria completely justified the custom made creation from one of the most renowned Filipino designers. The stunning deep neck sheer gown with sequined embroidery and high slit fit her body like a glove, complemented by her sleek hairdo.

Chella Grace Falconer representing Misamis Oriental

Looking like a strong woman, Chella donned a bold red Juniel Doring gown with a top bum hairdo. The tube neckline and the feather detailing on the gown was carried with confidence and elegance by the diva. She looked no less of a gorgeous queen on the ramp.

Maureen Wroblewitz representing Pangasinan

Pangasinan’s Maureen wore Mara Chua’s ocean gown, Ursula, as she shimmered down the ramp. The statement neckline and the linear glitter work all over the gown gorgeously defined Maureen’s body. The whole look was like a fairytale set in the 80s era. Maureen definitely slayed with her graceful performance.

Jane Nicole Minano representing Romblon

Shimmering and dazzling in silver beads and sequins, Jane Min~ano was like a star on the ramp. Her simple yet so elegant look with a thigh high slit and sleek hair was very fresh. The Jhoey Villarente Magallon gown made her looking like a queen.

Noelyn Rose Campos representing Antique

Noelyn wore a beautiful sequined silver gown by June Rei Occeña. The gown was simple with a high slit and a half cape enhancing the whole look. Noelyn’s hairstyle did wonders as she donned a fresh out of shower look. She showcased the amazing talent of her native city Antique with a confident performance.

Jan Louise Abejero representing Isabela

Jan Louise Abejero in Atelier Lasala looked divine in the ordained golden gown, a gown which was worth of 2 months’ work but was done in 14 days. A spirited elegance overflowed and manifested in Jan’s beauty and graceful walk. She was confident, stunning and powerful on the ramp.
