Miss Saint Lucia organisation held the finale of the 2022 edition on 27th August 2022 at Harbor Club Hilton where Sheris Paul was crowned Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2022. She will now represent Saint Lucia at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe.
Sheris hails from Morne Dudon, Castries, Saint Lucia. She studied business management at Monroe College in Bisee, St. Lucia. Not new to the pageantry, Sheris competed at Miss Independence 2015 and won the title. She then competed at Miss Queen of Gros Islet 2015 but didnt place.
In 2016, Sheris competed at St. Lucia National Carnival Queen 2016 but remained unplaced. With all of her experience, Sheris participated at Miss Saint Lucia 2022 and won the crown. She is definitely going to be a strong candidate for the international platform.
Saint Lucia will make a comeback after two absent editions since 2019. Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2019 Bebiana Mangal represented Saint Lucia at Miss Universe 2019 but did not place in the Top 20. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe pageant.
