Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of Miss Universe, will be held in a few weeks under the new leadership of JKN Global Group of Thailand. With the new leadership taking effect, one question that has risen is if Thai representative at Miss Universe 2022, Anna Sueangam-iam, will be favored in the upcoming edition.
There is a new owner in the block from Thailand and Anne Jakrajutatip has already turned Thailand into one of the two headquarters for Miss Universe from next edition. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam could be the first beneficiary from this new leadership takeover at Miss Universe.
However, Anna Sueangam-iam is not leaving any stone unturned to prove that she is just as deserving of the crown as the other delegates. Anna’s life journey is nothing less than inspirational. As a child, she played with toys that her parents found in the trash because they worked as garbage collectors for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in Bangkok. She went to Mahannaparam School in Bangkok. Anna completed a bachelor’s in arts with honours from Kasetsart University.
Not being knocked out by problems is what Anna’s motto is and she has made sure that she rises above them every time. Despite winning the crown, Anna came in sixth with just 3.2 per cent of the public votes on the Miss Universe Thailand website. Now, however, Anna is loved throughout her country as the ideal representative of the country.
Anna has been preparing for her upcoming stint; from perfecting her catwalk, working on her communication skills to preaching her advocacy, Anna is deserving of getting a top placement, if not the crown, regardless of who is the owner of Miss Universe. Even through all the hardships, Anna made her way on her own. In 2018, she was crowned Miss Mobile Thailand 2018. She is Miss Thinn Thai Ngarm 2020 second runner-up. In 2020, she competed at Miss Thailand 2020 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand but did not make it to the Top 5.
This year, defeating pageant veterans such as Nicolene and Renita, Anna became a crowd-favourite and the winner of the national crown. Thus, in our opinion, Anna surely has paved her own way since winning the Miss Universe Thailand 2022 crown and the new ownership does not need to hand out any favors to the Thai beauty at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe.
