Miss World 2019 stunning finalists of Group 2 of the Head to Head Challenge looked confident and steady as they answered the question given to them with utmost grace and confidence. The session was held on 25th November 2019 in London itself where the six divas of the first group namely Russia, Italy, Cook Islands, Myanmar, Ireland and Guatemala gave some stellar answers to the questions given to them. It showed their best prudency and the level of confidence the divas are carrying.

This year, presented by reigning Miss World Vanessa Ponce de Leon and 2016 Miss World Stephanie Del Valle, the Head to Head Challenge provided an exclusive and in-depth look at every single Miss World national representative. Their introduction videos of all the six divas were played first and then the reigning beauty Vanessa and Stephanie decided to chat with the girls in order to get to know them well as well as their ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ projects.

The diva was asked the question, “We can see that you love painting and drawing, has this helped you with your career?” The diva answered with fluency and expressed herself by saying, “I like drawing so much since my childhood and I express myself through my pictures. And I think art helped me to express myself and I think I inspire about nature through that, as it has beautiful forms and beautiful shapes. In future I want to create a special building for children who suffers from serious immune diseases and help them with art.”  The diva then shared about her ‘beauty with a purpose’ project which was related to the same. As she says, serious immune diseases don’t allow children to go out and to develop their abilities and everybody knows that art has a healing power. She believes that the children are our future and we need to help them in order for them to improve and get better in lives and so does the future. The diva believes that it can only be done through art and with it’s healing power.

Adele Sammartino Miss World Italy 2019

The diva is 24 years of age. While she was answering the question, she got overwhelmed as she talked about her father. She learned a lot from her father and tried her best to always carry his values that were embedded in the diva since her childhood. Her mentor, guidance and everything was his father and as he was a doctor who spent his whole life taking care of people with love, now the diva is carrying on his work further by being a doctor herself. She is basically a psychologist and helps patients with illness related to their mental health. The diva talked about her project which is, ’The residence for the elderly - THE RESILIENCE!’ The project focuses on the elderly people and the issues they go through. The diva prepared a residence where they will help the elderly with their mental as well as physical health issues in order for them to be resilient as they will recover and will improve better.

Tajiya Eikura Sahay Miss World Cook Islands 2019

The diva firstly shared about her Island and how beautiful it is as it small but still lovable. She talks about her culture describes the places and people’s nature there. She also talks about how she wants the world to know about her beautiful island. Then the diva shared her beauty with a purpose project and described it as she said, “The project is very dear my heart. When I was 19 years old, I struggled with body issues. It is very real and a sensitive issue that does happen to most people who don’t want to address it and talk about it. So I took the initiative to study nutrition health and fitness, so I could advice and mentor others. I do want to inspire others with my journey and empower them that, they can get through these issues.”

Khit Lin Latt Yoon Miss World Myanmar 2019

The diva shared about her family and how they are very close to her heart and they are so supportive of her. She talks about the value that is embedded in the family which is ‘to be a good person’. The diva, then shared about her beauty with a purpose project as she says that she wants to stand against cyber bullying as it was experienced by the diva herself in the past. The diva went through that and she now wants to help those people who goes through this trauma. She believes that it leads people to severe depression and then suicide and so it is very dangerous. She thinks that it is a classless behavior and people should be more careful while they speak on the internet and platforms like social media.

Chelsea Farrell Miss World Ireland 2019

The diva talked about her experiences and how she took ‘midwife’ as her career. The diva looked passionate while speaking about her career and how it is not just a career that she chose but also, it’s a major part of her life as she sees and supports many women as well as their babies through her profession. The diva then shared about her beauty with a purpose project as she says that her main focus is on the children and teenagers who go through bullying, especially cyber bullying such on social media. She says that, it is very important to focus on this point and help these teenagers as it is the most ongoing topic in her country. She talked about her campaigns and clubs that she set up in order to spread awareness against this issue.

Dulce María Ramos García Miss World Guatemala 2019

Ducle is 20 years of age and is student of nutrition. The diva shared her experiences in her homeland and she also described the way it is so rich in languages. The country includes 25 languages and 22 mother tongues. With this diversity and amazing cultural environment, the diva feels proud and sees her country as the most beautiful place to experience great diversity. The diva then talked about the language Kaqchikel or Kaqchiquel which is a Mayan language spoken in the Central Highlands of Guatemala by about half a million people. It is a member of the Quichean-Mamean branch of Mayan languages and is closely related to K'iche' (Quiché) and Tz'utujil. The name of the language used to be written Cakchiquel or Cakchiquiel. Her advocacy project is related to the underprivileged children who does not get the nutrition and health as they need and then suffers from many diseases. She wants to help those in need. Considering the children as our future, the diva wants to help them so that their health and lives can be improved in order to see a better and a successful future.
