Chanchal is also a part of Variety, a children’s charity in an attempt to make a difference to the lives of Australian kids in need. “Working alongside Variety - the Children’s Charity, this year we aim to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids overcome barriers to education and reach their full potential”, she says. The funds donated to the charity go towards Sensory equipment to a child with an intellectual disability, The Variety Learning Centre, Nutritional feeds for a child who requires tube feeding and Physiotherapy sessions for a child with cystic fibrosis.

A very intelligent woman, Chanchal has achieved a lot at such a young age. In 2018, Chanchal was privileged enough to compete in the Global and Social Innovation Challenge with a team of young innovators. Now, being the student senator, Chanchal provides a perspective on student issues and communicate back to their school’s student body the decisions made by WRDSB. Chanchal’s strong characteristics and absolutely stunning beauty can definitely win her a spot in the national competition.
