At the grand finale of Miss World Australia 2019 held yesterday night on 19th July 2019 at Palazzo Versace Hotel in the seaside city of Gold Coast, Queensland, Sarah Marschke was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Australia in Miss World 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Australia 2018 Taylah Cannon.

Hailing from Becksly, Sarah is a gorgeous woman who is currently training to be drafted to the Sydney Swans football team. She is also a singer/songwriter and a radio presenter. With her outstanding performance, she definitely bested all the other delegates for the national crown. Her court included –

First Runner-Up - Tasha Ross
Second Runner-Up - Jenaya Elliot
Third Runner-Up – Clara Momesso
Fourth Runner-Up – Sophia Harris
As the competition began with beautiful delegates competing from all over the country for the coveted crown, only ten advanced in the competition - Sarah Marschkee, Alana Byrne, Tasha Ross, Tinjana Bundalo, Jenaya Elliot, Clara Momesso, Jasmine Cole, Ash Parakevas, Sophia Harris and Lily Buhl. From the ten, the Top 5 were selected from where the national title was awarded to the winner.

Taylah Cannon represented Australia in Miss World 2018 where unfortunately she failed to win a placement. The last time Australia made it to the Top was in 2016 when Madeline Cowe made it to the Top 20. Australia has two Miss World titles under its belt till now.
