Nyah Bandelier crowned Miss World Bahamas 2019

At the grand coronation night of Miss World Bahamas 2019 held on 26th May 2019 at the Atlantis, Paradise Island, Nyah Bandelier was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Bahamas in Miss World 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Bahamas 2018 Brinique Gibson.

Nyah bested seven other gorgeous beauties to win the national title. Performing with excellence and grace, Nyah proved everyone why she deserved to win the crown. She represented Eleuthera at the national competition. Not just the winner crown, Nyah also won the Swimsuit Competition looking ever so confident and gorgeous in her walk. The newly crowned queen’s court included –

First Runner-Up – Shakera Hall Miss World Balmoral 2019

Second Runner-Up – La’Tiqua Smith Miss World Crystal Cay 2019

The grand finale was hosted by Jerome Sawyer and Leslia Brice who kept the audience entertained throughout the show. The contestants performed with Lady E at the opening segment. Also at the finale, Jerchovia Moxey Miss World New Providence 2019 won the Evening Gown Competition.

The gorgeous beauties who made it to Top 5 were Rotalya Williams Miss World Ocean Cay 2019, Nyah Bandelier Miss World Eleuthera 2019, Shakera Hall Miss World Balmoral 2019, La’Tiqua Smith Miss World Crystal Cay 2019 and Jerchovia Moxey Miss World New Providence 2019. Lydia Cooper, Miss World University of the Bahamas 2019 won instant save and safely made it to the top as well.

Last year, Brinique Gibson represented Bahamas in Miss World 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a position at the Top. Bahamas is yet to pioneer its win in Miss World competition. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen!
