Miss World India 2020 Manasa Varanasi receives FICCI FLO Influential Women Award 2021

Manasa Varanasi was crowned Miss World India 2020 on 10th February 2021 in Mumbai and will represent India at Miss World 2020 scheduled to take place on 16th December 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Manasa succeeded Miss World India 2019 Suman Rao who was adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss World 2019.

Recently, at an event hosted by FLO, the women wing of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Manasa Varanasi was awarded with FICCI FLO Influential Women Award for being a passionate and dedicated towards winning the title of VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 and earning the opportunity to represent India at Miss World 2020. The event was hosted at the UNESCO Heritage site of Chowmahalla palace, near Charminar.

 

 

After receiving the award, the beauty queen took to her social media to share the happiness by mentioning, “Thank you FICCI FLO! It was such an honour sharing your award with passionate, diverse women who have made a mark in their respective fields.” The diva feels grateful and blessed that her determination to make India proud has been recognized and she has been awarded with such prestigious award.

India’s representative at Miss World 2020, Manasa Varanasi was honoured by Jahnabi Phookan President, FLO and Usharani Manne, Chapter Chair at the event and she thanked the organization for recognizing her passion and determination.  Fourteen other distinguished individuals were also recognised and honoured with FIWA Awards for their outstanding achievement and contribution through their work.

 

 

FICCI FLO Influential Women Award 2021 was the first event to be held after the unlock phase of the pandemic at Chowmahalla Palace. The beauty queen walked on-stage with Ex-President FICCI FLO Pinky Reddy and thanked her for accompanying her. She is now preparing for the finale of Miss World 2021 scheduled for December 2021 and is assured that she will perform her best on-stage to bring the crown home.
