Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee becomes the new Goodwill Ambassador of the Autism Society Philippines

Michelle Marquez Dee Miss World Philippines 2019 in a recent event held yesterday, was announced as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Autism Society Philippines.

A video was also recorded after the event where, the diva now calls out everyone to support this Angels walk on 26th January 2020, which will be held at the mall of Asia Arena. As the beauty described, it will particularly be for consciousness and awareness about autism. The diva promotes an 'autism okay world', where there would be no differences and she expects the world to be free from the mindset, they carry for autism.

The magnificent queen have always been passionate about her work which is to help out people with mental health problems. She is truly a diva who worked out well to help the children in Philippines, struggling with autism.

Making her passion a source for the Beauty With A Purpose in Miss World 2019, the diva was headed towards her mission of helping out kids with autism. Though, the diva couldn't make it to win the BWAP but the recognition of her work was still at an awe.

Growing up with two of her siblings diagnosed with autism, Dee has been an advocate for autism awareness and mental health education since she was sixteen (16) years old. This family circumstance is also one of the reasons why she decided to take up psychology at university. She has been working with the Center for Possibilities, Inc., a foundation that helps and cares for children with special needs, and other organizations in spreading more information on autism, assisting those who have the developmental disability—especially the youngsters—and creating more awareness about autism and mental health. In an interview after winning the Miss World Philippines 2019 competition, Dee revealed she is donating part of her prizes to patients of autism who are in need of medical care and other relevant assistance.

The gorgeous diva is a Filipino actress, athlete, model and TV presenter. She is a daughter of businessman Frederick Derek Dee and Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez. She attended the De La Salle University in Manila and graduated with a degree in psychology. Dee is an internationally signed model and an avid fan of photography. Dee is also an LGBTQIA+ rights advocate and champions autism awareness.
