The 25th edition of Puteri Indonesia, i.e., Puteri Indonesia 2022 was hosted on 27th May 2022, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and the opportunity to represent the country at international pageants. The organization crowned its representatives for the upcoming editions of Miss Universe, Miss Supranational and Miss International pageants.

At the end of the event, Bali’s Laksmi Deneefe Suardana was crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2022 as she succeeded Puteri Indonesia 2020 Ayu Maulida for the title and will now represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022. Through Puteri Indonesia, Laksmi will fight together with the support of people throughout Indonesia in increasing awareness of the importance of literature and literacy.

The other two queens succeeded Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020 Putu Ayu Saraswati and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2020 Jihane Almira Chedid and will represent Indonesia at the Miss International 2022 and Miss Supranational 2022 pageant respectively.

The Top 6 finalists included, Chrissy Fransisca Olivyana Rugian, Arina Rezkyana Arfa and Melanie Theresia Antoinette Berentz. Other winners of the night were Puteri Indonesia DKI Jakarta 1 2022 Angelia Rizky who won the Puteri Indonesia Berbakat title and Puteri Indonesia Maluku 2022 Jaswin Kaur Dhillon who won the Best Traditional Costume award.

The organization also hosted two reigning international beauty queens including, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu and Miss International 2019 Bint Sireethorn. As Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe is unable to join the celebration, her first runner-up Karla Guilfu of Puerto Rico also graced the night with her presence.
