In a series of Q/A on social media, Sheynnis Palacaios hinted at participating in Miss Nicaragua sometime in the future. Miss Nicaragua is the official preliminary to represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe. With her previous experience in pageantry along with all the appreciation she has received from her fans, Sheynnis will surely be a strong competitor for the crown if she participates.
Sheynnis Alondra Cornejo Palacios is 22 years of age and stands 178 cm tall. Born in Managua, Palacios studied at the Universidad Centroamericana where she pursued a degree in mass communication. Along with that, she also played varsity volleyball for the university. Sheynnis has quite a list of accomplishments under her belt.
Not new to the pageant world, Palacios started into the world of pageantry in 2016 when she won Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016. As Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016, Palacios represented her country in Miss Teen Universe 2017, in Managua where she placed in Top 10. In 2020, Palacios won the Miss World Nicaragua 2020 crown as she won the right to represent Nicaragua at Miss World 2020 and placed in the Top 40.
Is Sheynnis decides to compete at Miss Nicaragua in a few years, she will definitely be more prepared to give it a serious go. Winning Miss Nicaragua would mean she could get the chance to represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe and win the opportunity to get the first ever crown for Nicaragua.
