Hoa hau các Dân toc Viet Nam 2022 (Miss Ethnicity Vietnam 2022) was held on 16th July 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City where Nông Thúy Hang was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Vietnam at Miss Earth 2023.

The national organization, through their official social media, announced that Thach Thu Thao will be representing Vietnam at the upcoming edition of Miss Earth, to be held in Philippines later this year.

Talking about the opportunity to represent Vietnam at such an esteemed platform, Thach Thu Thao said, "When receiving the decision to represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2022, I was very happy because of the dream mine has come true. I will try 200% of my capacity to fulfill the trust entrusted by Nova Entertainment. I will try to fulfill the mission of a cultural ambassador in introducing the cultural identity of Vietnamese ethnicity to the world friends. This is the greatest pride of my life".

Miss Earth 2022 is scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines. Destiny Wagner of Belize will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
