As reported to you previously about the resignation of Carey Ng from the position of National Director of Miss Universe Malaysia, the organisation now has a new National Director, Elaine Daly. Carey Ng, who was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2013, took over the role in 2014 and was responsible for sending Sabrina Beneett and Vanessa Tevi Kumares to the Miss Universe Pageant in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

The Miss Universe Organisation issued an official announcement declaring the appointment of their new National Director. Elaine Daly is a former Miss Universe Malaysia 2003 and has been a pageant mentor and advisor for MUMO in 2013. In fact, Elaine was also one of the Gala Night judges in the recent crowning of the new Miss Universe Malaysia 2016, Kiran Jassal.

Elaine started as a model since the tender age of 14 and has appeared in over 200 television commercials and advertisements. Ealine has graduated with a law degree at the age of 19 in 2003. The beauty queen, and now a National Director, is an award winning actress, TV presenter and producer.
