The Miss Eco International organisation revealed in an official statement that Yolanda Fessha will be representing Ethiopia at the 7th edition of the competition where Miss Eco International 2021 Gizzelle Mandy Uys of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Hailing from the city of Addis Ababa, Yolanda Fessha is a student of Health Science studies and works as a model on the professional front. Fessha is a travel enthusiast and has her own set of amusing travel stories to tell.

The diva went to Sport Science College where she studied for four years as it was the government who decided the major for all the students contrary to what she had in mind for herself. Yet she believes that everything relates to everything, and that she can use some of her other skills in social work.

Not new to the world of pageantry, Yolanda previously represented Ethiopia at Miss Aura International 2021 in September last year. She was also a member of the British council, working in motivating youths to be productive and constructive.

In her free time Yolanda loves reading books, watching a good movie, going out for a hike, visiting historical places, traveling, going out for a cup of coffee or for some healthy snack with friends or family. Sharing some interesting facts about her country, she mentioned that Ethiopia observes 13 calendar months per year as the country radiates ’13 months of sunshine!’ This makes the Ethiopian calendar 7 years behind the rest of the world.

Yolanda is now preparing for her international stint as she is determined to make her country proud. She is experienced, strong, and comfortable with being on stage and on camera. Miss Eco International 2022 is scheduled to be held on 14th March 2022 at Jollie Ville Kings Island in Luxor, Egypt.
