The Miss World Denmark 2016 was held on 17th September 2016. Helena Heuser was crowned as the winner and will represent Demark at the Miss World 2016 pageant. This year a total of 30 finalists were shortlisted to compete for the coveted crown.

At the conclusion of the finale, Miss World Denmark 2015 Jessica Hvirvelkaer passed on her crown to her successor. Former Miss World Denmark, Lisa Lents is the National Director of the Miss and Mr Denmark pageant. In 2015, the rights to hold the Miss Denmark national beauty pageant were purchased by Lisa Lents. And any representative for Miss World will now be selected by the above pageant.
