Miss Universe Singapore 2016 was held on October 16th 2016 with fifteen (15) beauties competing for the coveted crown and the privilege to represent Singapore in Miss Universe 2016. Lisa Marie White, the reigning Miss Universe Singapore, crowned Cheryl Chou as her successor at the finals of the pageant.

Tanisha Lissa Khan was adjudged the first runner-up, and Sonya Elisabeth Branson finished as the second runner-up. Top 5 also included Joeypink Lai and Luisa Gan.

In addition to declaring the winner and the runners-up, a series of special awards were also announced at the night of the finals -

Besides the crown and international representation, the winner of Miss Universe Singapore 2016 received a cash prize of $10,000, coverage in Singapore Press Holding’s stable of titles including print, radio and magazines, a Canon camera worth $1,000, $24,000 worth of beauty and wellness services from Beaute Hub, up to $20,000 worth of dental aesthetic services from Orchard Scotts Dental and personal training and scheduled sessions worth a total of $9,000 from Bodyburn Fitness Singapore.

The 15 contestants who competed at the finals are Luisa Gan, Hazel Tay, Patricia Eng, Joeypink Lai, Sreeveena Saravanan, Sonam Rai, Cheryl Chou, Poojaa Gill, Shona Shasha Woo, Althea Lew, Nikki Tay, Shanice Vanessa Hedger, Sonya Elisabeth Branson, Tanisha Lissa Khan, and Venessa Tiara Tay.
