Maria Laura Ramirez is 19 years of age and stands at an astounding height of 172 centimeters. She hails from Nicaragua and will be representing her country at the Miss World 2016 pageant. The beauty dreams of being a major producer of a TV channel. She explains, “I have always been persevering and I will work hard to achieve my goals. I could never see myself other than what I have in mind so I will do everything to accomplish my dreams.” When asked about the most memorable moment of her life, she replies, “4 years ago I suffered from a very serious illness; I was detected with a bad arteriovenous formation in the brain and my legs were immobilised with an unbearable pain. Within the following year, I was under treatment and thank God, he did a miracle. I was told by the doctors that after treatment, the bad formation was gone. That experience gave me a great lesson and made me grateful to God about the meaning of life. To her , the most important thing in life is education.
