At the spectacular finale of Miss Universe Hrvatske 2015 (Miss Universe Croatia 2015), held on June 7’ 2015 at the Crystal Ballroom of the Westin Hotel, Barbara Ljiljak hailing from Split was crowned the winner by the outgoing queen Ivana Misura. Barbara will now represent Croatia at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Twenty beautiful girls from all over Croatia contended for the title of Miss Universe Croatia 2015.
26 years old Barbara graduated from the Italian school of fashion and design in Split. Barbara loves to go out on adventure trips and loves indulging into adventure sports and activities. In her spare time Barbara loves to design outfits and spends her free time with family and closed ones. She is very particular about her body and health and never misses out on gym. Her dream job is to become a fashion designer.
Her court includes, Alma Fabulic who was adjudged First Runner-up and Mirta Laura Kustan Second Runner-up. 19 years old Alma hailing from Zadar completed her studies from the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. She wants to be a judge for a beauty contest someday. 22 years old Mirta hailing from Krapinske Toplice studied at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. Mirta aspires to either start a career in acting or become a leader.
In addition to the winners and runners up, there were also a series of Special Awards that were awarded to the following contestants under the categories listed -
Miss Photogenic - Ana Juretic. 19 years old Ana is a graduate in trade from Opatija and likes reading books. She is trained volleyball player and is also a pianist.
Miss Congeniality (or Miss Sympathy) - Marina Barun. Marina completed her senior high school from Ban Josip Jelacic in Zapresic.. She wants to become a professional make-up artist someday.
