The announcement was made by the Miss Earth Norway on its official Facebook page. Nielsen vied for Miss Universe Norway 2015 and nailed as fourth runner-up.
Miss Earth 2015 will be the fifteenth edition of the Miss Earth Pageant to be held on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle, Vienna, Austria. Jamie Herrell of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the gala.
Dina is from Lørenskog, but currently lives in Ski. She was one of the 12 finalists in the Miss Universe Norway, which took place on August 30 in Oslo.
“I admit that I was a critic of beauty pageants before I joined. But it’s more about being a good role model and being able to represent Norwegian girls in a good way,” she says.
71 delegates from 11 countries have corroborated their national pageants. And more are there to come. Going by the list of contestants in the Miss Earth pageant this year, it looks like the finale is going to be one grand event to look out for.
We can decisively say that for Nielsen the competition is going to be cutthroat.
