17 years old Jessica Joephina Hvirvelkær from Risskov has been crowned Miss Denmark 2015. Jessica will now represent Denmark at the Miss World 2015 pageant. “It is indescribable. It’s not quite sunk in yet”, she said after winning.
Jessica succeeds Pernille Sørensen who failed to place at Miss World 2014 in London. Lisa Lents, the former Miss World Denmark is the National Director of the Miss and Mr Denmark pageant. In 2015, the rights to hold the Miss Denmark national beauty pageant have been purchased by Lisa Lents. And any representative for Miss World will now be selected by the above pageant.
